Network Security Testing
I perform network security testing within an agreed scope to understand which hosts and services are exposed and whether there are security issues that should be reviewed. The work can include host discovery, port and service enumeration, service version identification, basic vulnerability checks, configuration review, and traffic or protocol analysis where suitable. Testing is limited to the systems and addresses that are authorized for assessment. Results are documented so that the client can understand which services were observed, what security concerns were identified, and what actions may help reduce the risk.
What I Can Help With
Port and service enumeration
Service and version identification
Network configuration review
Exposed service assessment
Basic vulnerability assessment
Traffic and protocol analysis
Security findings documentation
Process & Methodology
Discover Hosts
Identify reachable hosts and systems within the authorized network scope.
Enumerate Services
Identify open ports, services, versions, and exposed network functionality.
Assess Configuration
Review exposed services and identify potential configuration or security weaknesses.
Validate Findings
Investigate relevant findings and collect appropriate technical evidence.
Report Results
Document security observations, affected services, risks, and practical recommendations.
Deliverables
Network Assessment Findings
Documented observations and security issues identified during testing.
Service Enumeration Results
Relevant information about discovered hosts, ports, and services.
Technical Evidence
Supporting evidence for validated findings where appropriate.
Security Recommendations
Practical recommendations based on the assessment results.
